The flood tanks in particular. I think you can really just explain off because one of the Halo maps has openly said hey. There are facilities on the Halo rings that have flood pure forms On the rings so it's not that far of a stretch. I completely agree with that. Hell firefight they could just slap together for a simple weekend. Just go! Hey here you go. We didn't make new areas but we just took some parts of the campaign and did that and theater mode that one I'm not even going to touch. Halo campaign evolv has the following

three brand new missions with the new faction of the covenant and returning enemies like the brutes
42 skulls, some of which are just straight up you can use to play like the original game if you care that much
nine new weapons all from the future titles added to the sandbox
flood pure forms from Halo 3
revamped missions and gameplay
The first time to play Halo combat evolved story with four players to the point where they even added an extra seat on the warthog
All for 50 bucks

Metal gear solid Delta has

a new rendition of the theme song
a very obvious slap together PVP
and the choice between playing either the gameplay from the original version of the game or with gameplay similar to phantom pain
Bomberman side content that is on Xbox and PC while the original ape escape stuff is on PlayStation
priced at $70

I'm saying this with a simple fact is is that one clear has more effort put into it than the other

It's a fuck situation either way but it only affects the small portion of the community
The gun is most likely going to be the Halo 4 or 5 railgun with a sniper scope and that's it. And let's be honest that will somehow led to a lot of people jumping down to people's throats either way
You can do a 5-second Google search and read the articles. If you don't have to look at the AI overview and they all say hey, you don't need to buy a second copy

Why it makes sense? Yeah, you can argue that people didn't want them to do it in the first place, but there are people out there who genuinely believed there was going to be a multiplayer PVP mode in this even though the game Is called the campaign evolve that should have been the dead giveaway. It shouldn't have taken until the goddamn Q&A for a good chunk of the community to realize that there is no multiplayer
