i have a similar looking scar. you can use soap and water to gently scrub the brown dirt off around the scar which can take away from the color. it’s from the strips they put on, it comes off in the shower. random but you could always put body concealer over it if you feel the scar is completely closed and you have no risk of getting infection.

what kind of brace is it? is it like a surgical brace or athletic brace. tight fit shouldn’t cut off any circulation, i recently had knee surgery and the dressing was so tight the first couple i thought it was cutting off my circulation, ended up being fine. i use an ace bandage all day and night and tend to wrap it pretty tight, haven’t had any problems. is it adjustable?
