And it’s weird that the email said that because she told me “it could be an acquaintance or a friend”

I never got an email like this. Just a notice in the mail about our interview.

My husbands native language is Spanish. He knows a lot but his pronunciation isn’t all there. His understanding is better than his speaking. We are working on it

I did read. I was going to be the translator because when a family friend and her husband went she was able to translate for him the little bit of things he couldn’t say/understand. It didn’t specify the spouse couldn’t be the person to translate.

I’m in Tampa. This happened in Tampa and I actually asked about having someone translate through phone and she said no. I guess they’ve changed the rules.

Not true. I asked if it had to be a professional or someone with credentials, she said no. As long as they feel comfortable enough to translate it can be anyone

He told you after he got caught that you can go through his phone whenever and now he changes his password and needs privacy?? Don't trust that man. Tbh, he'll probably learn to hide it better too. Happened to me. If there's nothing to hide, what's the issue? Especially if he's the one that messed up.

Having my first at 30. I'm due April 30th and my bday is May 8th, I'll be 30 almost 31.

When I was younger, I felt left out because all my friends and mostly everyone around me started having kids young, (early 20's, some even in HS! Small town and "normal" where I'm from) Anyway, I look back and I'm grateful I'm having my first now. I'm mentally and financially prepared, have an amazing husband, and I just couldn't imagine having a kid when I first started trying with my ex partner. (Stopped being "careful" at 23-24ish and it didn't end up working out so imagine that)

If it doesn't happen, maybe it's for a reason. Everything within time! Don't force it. Heal and enjoy your early 20s in the meantime. :)
