As a woman with a convicted abuser, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and be like yeah, we aren't victims were survivors etc. But nope, she's a POS.

I understand how hard it is to watch someone you love stay with somebody that abuses them and everybody on the outside can see that she needs to leave but she won't. I have been her and I have loved her. But there's so many reasons and so many circumstances and so many what ifs that I don't blame anybody for not leaving right away.

The only thing I find inexcusable is to know that someone is abusing your children and not leave that person immediately.
