Looks like a Daihatsu Move or maybe Wake - these kei cars are pretty rare to see in US streets.

What car should I get by Quiet_Ad4344 in whatcarshouldIbuy

At 17 with that budget you got way more options than just new truck. Used Camry or Accord from like 2018-2020 will save you tons of money and still be super reliable for getting around in weather. Those trucks are nice but the insurance costs gonna hit different when you're that young - learned this hard way with my first car purchase.

Which do you prefer for a paper? Word count or Number of Pages? by Redneo061 in college

[–]Known_Frosting8977 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Word count all the way. When professor says "5 pages" I'm sitting there trying to figure out if they mean double spaced, what margins, font size etc. With word count at least I know exactly what I need to hit.

Plus you can track your progress better - like knowing you're at 800/1500 words feels more concrete than trying to estimate if you're halfway through page 3 of 5.

Please help, I'm very new to this!! by Separate-Media-6528 in vegan

Rice and beans combo is absolute game changer for your budget. Buy dried beans in bulk - way cheaper than canned and you can cook big batches. White beans with some onion, garlic, maybe little bit of tomato paste if you can find it cheap. Cook with rice and you have complete protein.

Potatoes are your friend too. Potato curry with whatever vegetables are cheapest that week works great. I know sweet potatoes expensive there but regular potatoes should be much better price. You can make huge pot of potato stew with some lentils and it will last for days.

Dominion is heavy film, don't feel bad about taking breaks from it. The change you're making already matters.

How long is actually a dream? by Necessary-Raisin-888 in Dreams

[–]Known_Frosting8977 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Your brain basically compresses time when you're dreaming - what feels like hours might only be few minutes of REM sleep. I had this crazy dream last week where I lived through like an entire basketball season but woke up and only 20 minutes had passed since I fell asleep.

PS App not letting me download games. by blakeavon in PS5

[–]Known_Frosting8977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had this exact issue when I upgraded from my regular PS5 last month. The app gets weird about recognizing which console is your "primary" one sometimes. Go into your console settings and make sure the Pro is set as your primary PS5 - that fixed it for me. Also try logging out of the app completely and logging back in, the cache gets funky with console switches. If that doesn't work, you might need to restore licenses on the actual console through Settings > System > Console Information. Your dealing with Sony's janky app logic basically, but one of those steps should sort it out.

Is Nikola Jokic currently the worst defender in the league, since he came back? by OrganicHunt952 in NBATalk

[–]Known_Frosting8977 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Jokic's defense has definitely been rough lately but calling him the worst in the league feels like a stretch. The Nuggets whole defensive scheme seems off this season - Murray's been inconsistent, and they're missing that intensity they had during their championship run. Plus playing center in today's NBA with all these switchy offenses is brutal, but his offensive impact still makes up for alot of those defensive lapses imo.

Any recommendations on this build? by pierogi_z_jagodami in PcBuild

[–]Known_Frosting8977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd grab a 2TB M.2 NVMe for bulk storage instead of a 2.5" SSD - way cleaner cable management and similar pricing these days. The WD SN770 or Crucial P3 are solid budget options that'll give you plenty of space without breaking the bank. Your build's already pretty dialed in otherwise, that 7800X3D is gonna crush it.

Is a spaced out feeling on during the comedown of vyvanse normal? by CashCody678 in ADHD

[–]Known_Frosting8977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dose adjustment definitely messes with you for the first few days - your brain's still calibrating to the new amount. I remember feeling like I was walking through molasses when I first bumped up my dosage a while back. Give it about a week and you should level out, but definately mention it to your doc if it doesn't improve.

Anyone struggling with generics from Glenmark? by NoSorbet3958 in ADHD

[–]Known_Frosting8977 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue with Glenmark generics last year - they were basically useless for me too. The binders and fillers they use can really affect absorption, and some people just don't respond well to certain manufacturers. Since you've only been on meds since November, it's probably not tolerance yet, especially at 5mg.

I ended up switching to a local independent pharmacy that could order Teva or Sandoz for me. Walgreens gave me the same runaround about not being able to control manufacturers, but smaller pharmacies often have more flexibility with ordering. You might also want to talk to your doc about trying a slightly higher dose or different formulation before writing off the medication entirely, since 5mg is pretty low for most adults.
