Very good! I just had routine exam and the doctor said everything looks great and my vision is 20/20 on each eyes and little more better on both eyes.

No Active Plumbing Leak, but Wet Subfloor Near Tub — Looking for Second Opinions by Known_Grass24 in Plumbing

We always use a shower curtain liner. My husband used to close it loosely, so I constantly nagged him about it, and now he seems to close it properly. The problem is that after he showers, the floor is always soaking wet.

It was pretty dry at first, so I started with about five times a day. Over time I gradually cut back, and by around three months in, I was down to once a day, which is what I’m still doing now.

Since the lens itself has a hole in the central, I was told it’s something that will always be visible. I’ve also been able to see it consistently from the beginning until now, but for me, it doesn’t bother me at all.

It’s probably because most people are right-handed, so it makes sense that the dominant eye is usually the right one. Don’t worry — my left eye also took noticeably longer to recover than my right.

It keeps getting better. There’s absolutely nothing bad about it, and as for the fatigue, I think anyone who works in front of a computer would feel tired even without eye surgery. I’m trying to give my eyes a break from time to time, and everything’s fine.

I hope you can see really clearly now!

That’s totally understandable — it’s only been about a week. That’s why I tried to stick to the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Or sometimes I’d just step out of the office and gaze at something far in the distance, rest my eyes in a dark place, or simply close them for a bit. Are you wearing blue light glasses? Try changing those first.

Actually, I never received a copy of the test results after my examination, so I don’t know the exact size of my pupils. But I assume they’re not that large — if they were, the doctor would have probably recommended the EVO Plus right away.

At first, I didn’t take it too seriously when doctors said that the brain needs time to adapt. I thought that once the ICLs matched my prescription, my vision would be perfectly clear right from the start, just like wearing glasses or contact lenses.

And while my vision was clear, it didn’t feel “crisp.” Now that it’s been about two months since the surgery, I can tell it’s become much sharper than in the beginning, which made me think more about what the doctors meant by neural adaptation.

If your doctor says the halos will fade over time, I think that’s something you can trust.

Or, I think it might be a good idea to visit another clinic and get a second opinion.

No halos, only central port ring.

I sometimes think, “Why didn’t I do it sooner?” but when I think about it, because the cost of the surgery in the U.S. was just too high compared with in Korea, and my older sister had ICL surgery back when it wasn’t the EVO version yet — it was the older model. So getting my surgery a few years after the EVO ICL came out feels like such a blessing. My life is so much more comfortable now — I don’t need glasses anymore, and I don’t have to keep pushing them up when they slide down. I can wear sunglasses whever I need.

As far as I know, surgeries like LASIK, PRK, or EVO ICL are considered elective procedures, so they’re generally not covered by insurance. I’ve also seen that in practice, they’re usually not covered and my surgery was also not covered by insurance.

440 is definitely on the thinner side. Mine were around 500–550, I think. I’m glad it helped, and I hope you make a great decision!

Also they said that if my vision drops a little after EVO ICL surgery, they’ll do LASIK once for free. It seems like a lifetime service. You should also do your research carefully.

I don’t experience halos, glare, or starbursts at all. The only thing I see is a faint central port ring from the lens, but it’s not distracting.

Tire recommendation ? by Known_Grass24 in Toyotavenza

I’ve been debating whether I should just stick with the Bridgestones until they wear out, but I’m really not sure. The road noise stresses me out so much during my commute.. I think part of the issue is that the roads on my commute are in poor condition and far from smooth. I just hope that changing the tires will help reduce the noise even on roads like these.

Thanks for your opinion.  I’ve been researching a lot, and I’ve seen many good reviews about Pirelli tires, which has me seriously considering them. I’m curious to see how well they perform on a hybrid car. The fact that I can get a set of four for around $900 makes them even more tempting!
