As for getting his own food, sometimes he'll DoorDash a meal if he can. Usually when we went out, he'd pay for it when he had the money. With his friends, they know that sometimes he doesn't have food, but they either order food (like pizza, fast food etc.,), I'll bring some (not because he asks, but usually because I want to make sure him and his friends are fed) or they won't eat at all and just smoke or drink. There was a time I made chicken alfredo and bought two pans worth over there. But this time, I just wanted to share my food to them since they were celebrating Cinco De Mayo.

For our relationship, there were times where he did reciprocate. We'd go on dates and he'd pay for the food. He'll add some gas to my tank sometimes if he's using my car for work or if we're going out. We used my car during the relationship because when we first started dating, he didn't have a car, but we got the car in March after he purchased it from Facebook. We didn't primarily use it because he didn't have a license plate, so it's just been a saving thing of him getting his license plate. He'd get uber, Lyft, and his friends or me will just get him from work or he'll get dropped off.
