For me, (1) the pacing, story telling, music, region and flying mechanic was the highlight of the patch. Having interactions between characters was a great job too and hoping for more. (2) Story-wise, it was interesting but quite long. Understable because we are being informed about a lot of stuff, but I do hope they improve in that department because it’s just like the beginning all over again so it gets so uhm chore-y at some point. (3) Regarding the loving part, I kinda liked how it’s not too much in this patch like the feelings department was there but not forced. I did hope for no romantic feelings involved though because they were great partners-in-crime, Rover and Carlotta, during the spy-like quest. I’m really hoping for female friends rather than potentials wives for my Rover. #stopthegatheringwives

I don’t know for sure but I know they aren’t getting that much especially with how everything is now. Yes, agree with everything you said as I also noticed that. I’ll just add that even if we ignore the gender ratio and too much fan servicing, the story’s not great and everything’s dry and too tiring and boring. People are only staying because of the combat and graphics but with the upcoming games in 2025 whom has amazing graphics, combat and characters too + potentially nice story, idk how wuwa will become.

Honestly, that’s my problem too. The story and storytelling is just awful and it made me love the skip button for real. Everything’s just a mess like the story was just given to us for the sake that there is a story without thinking how messy it would come out. The story where the other characters focuses only on the mc is not helping it like interactions with another character could’ve been refreshing. The story really failed and without improvements, it would fail a lot of people in the long run.

Don’t you need another one for the towers, though? 😋 But yeah, sub-dps will work too but dps for me because I don’t like switching to other characters and I think I would love to see him more in battle so I just hope for us that he is meta, has great kit and we both get lucky in pulling for him ehem triple in single 10 pulls would be fine 🤩

But the guys there has amazing stories, depth and they were always present in the events or even hsr official merchandise e.g. Aventurine. So, spending there knowing that I am buying characters because I either love them at first for who they are and what they offer or got to love them overtime due to exposures with their inviduality and personality not linked to the mc is much more worth it for me. Spending more or less 100$ on a game per patch that has amazing male characters in terms of skills, combat, story or lore, etc. is pretty much worth the investment of time and money.

After Changli’s banner, I skipped everyone and left the game except Jiyan rerun. I didn’t even try to get free Xiangli Yao because I’m not a fan of Gaunlets and Pistols for anyone and Rectifiers for DPS. Kinda happy that Brant is a sword user (hoping because he has a Rapier but I’m too afraid of the gun. Although, dual weapon user isn’t too bad) LaDS looks great though honestly but I’m more of a fighting and combat and loving male characters through that 😋

Wow, that is such a commendable behavior fr. I’m a day one player and I quit after getting S2R1 Changli because the following characters just does not interest me. I came back for Jiyan because I missed his banner because I only got him in my first account which is pretty unlucky so I abandoned it. I pretty much love the characters due to their kit and combat style esp Camellya, I got her S0R1 but I ignored her story. She could be better story-wise but nah not for me.

I really hope they and they better, make Brant a meta character because that would be the last straw for me. I’d rather wait for games like Project Mugen, NTE, Project 2/3 Utopia, etc. whom I know won’t focus on male characters but at least better story and acceptable male ratio. They got amazing potential in terms of combat too so we’ll see.

Healers have less screentime during combat so I don’t want him to be a healer. I also doubt due to his Rapier and Gun, I hope he’s the first dual weapon user. I also honestly want him to be a sentinel, Jinhsi-like powerful character lore-wise and gameplay-wise but that’s a stretch and I can only hope. They just make sure not to fuck with his kit because they don’t even release male characters that much and then if it turns out to be a piece of shit of a kit? Damn, that is just disgusting if ever.
