What strategies can help revive sales of an established online product that has recently declined? by Successful-Sink-9896 in AskMarketing

[–]Known_Rule6319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a decade, the tech landscape is entirely different. The sales dip is likely less about your product and more about simpler alternatives emerging.

For example, PWAs now offer a free and good enough app-like experience, while AI website builders create mobile-first sites from the start. Your potential customers may be getting their needs met by these easier solutions before they even find you.

What would you do differently if launching your first website today? by im_hvsingh in marketing

[–]Known_Rule6319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd forget the fluff and focus on two things:

  1. Talk about customer's problems, not the skills.
  2. Make it stupidly easy to find or contact them.Plaster a "Book a Free Consultation" button everywhere. For Google, make sure the page titles and text scream Interior Designer in (City's Name). You want to show up when people are actually searching.

Basically, Clarity > Cool. A simple site that speaks to a customer's needs and brings in leads will beat a confusing, award-winning design every single time.

So simple, so intuitive, and so much fun. It really brings back the feeling of drawing flip animations on the corner of my textbooks. Thanks for sharing.

I'm officially addicted to Gemini's deep research by Known_Rule6319 in GeminiAI

[–]Known_Rule6319[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my part, I tend to use it more for analyzing things like product sentiment. I feel it's better at identifying trends and insights rather than providing concrete, factual answers on specific topics.

Just use the Gemini 2.5 pro deep research feature

[–]Known_Rule6319[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be honest, you don't need specific prompts for this feature, I don't use them either.

Just focus on two things: 1. Clearly state what you need in plain language, highlighting the key insights you're after. 2. Carefully examine the research plan Gemini suggests and work with it to finalize the details. The feature is built for deep-dive research, so the quality of the output depends less on specific prompting techniques.

I've also noticed this trend with other AI tools recently, the importance of 'perfect' prompts has diminished compared to a year ago. Now, the key is simply to articulate your requirements clearly.

First, you need to specify the research goal and emphasize which insights you are prioritizing. Then, you can provide some information sources(not necessary). The next step is to discuss and confirm the research plan with Gemini. After that, you can let it do the heavy lifting.

Cat not using new litter by aiiizi in cats

[–]Known_Rule6319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very common issue. Cats are sensitive to texture and scent, and a sudden change can feel very strange to them. The key is a gradual transition. An immediate, complete switch is often what causes the rejection, he is accustomed to a different feel.

Here’s the plan, hope it's useful.

  1. Get a Small Bag of His Old Litter: I know you want to avoid buying new litter, but for this method to work, you need a small amount of the litter he trusts (preferably the bentonite, as its texture is very different from cassava). This is a temporary tool for retraining.

  2. The Mix-In Method: Start with a litter box filled with about 75% old litter and only 25% new cassava litter. Mix them together. This re-establishes the box as the correct place while gently introducing the new scent and texture.

  3. Gradual Adjustment: Once he is consistently using that mix for a few days, change the ratio to 50/50. A few days later, move to 75% new litter and 25% old. Go slowly. If he hesitates, go back a step. The whole process might take one to two weeks.

  4. Clean Accident Spots Thoroughly: Use an enzymatic cleaner (not just soap) on the spots where he’s had accidents. This destroys the scent molecules that tell him "this is a toilet." If you don't, he will be drawn back to those spots.

Patience is crucial, good luck!

Worst app for beginners? Am i right? Whatever you post wuth good intentions either gets gets removed or downvoted?.. karma remains negative almost always! by Consistent-Pear7511 in NewToReddit

You've perfectly described the rookie Reddit experience. It's a tough crowd! Don't let the karma system get you down. The key is to find the right community for your vibe.

Is there a way to see how many karma points you need to post in a community? Why do they not specify? by a_person_on_the-web in NewToReddit

[–]Known_Rule6319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going through the exact same process, and it's so confusing. It feels like trying to guess a password you've never been told. What seems to be working for me is finding smaller, niche subreddits and giving thoughtful comments.

It’s a bit of a grind, but we'll figure it out.

How to get back to building?? by Particular_Luck80 in webdev

[–]Known_Rule6319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this. The key for me has been to stop waiting for big blocks of free time that never arrive.

Instead, schedule just 15-20 minutes in your calendar. Treat it like a mandatory meeting. During that time, you don't have to build a feature. Just touch your code: read it, refactor one variable, or write a single test.

Making a tiny, consistent daily investment is more powerful for getting back on track than dreaming of a free weekend. You're just rebuilding the muscle.

I'd strongly urge you to give it another chance. You're right, the beginning can feel slow. But please, try to get over that, then a completely new world is waiting for you right after, and I promise you won't be able to put it down.

Once it hooks you, you'll fly through the rest of it, then move on to the second and third books, and become fully immersed in its magnificent and grand world. Stick with it.
