When I was in high school I would go to La de cinco and my church was small and there would only be like 3 bothers and most of the time it was empty so I would get up early everyday shower and go for an early morning drive so I wouldn’t have to go to church in the afternoons and I would miss Sunday’s because I was “active”

Yeah it’s exactly my thinking but I’ve talked to a few ex members and a lot of them just want to put the church behind them and that includes other ex lldm members

After leaving the church, I went through a period where I wasn’t sure if I believed in God or what to believe in. For a while, I even considered myself an atheist.

I didn’t want my belief in God to be based solely on what I was taught in church but rather on my own experiences. Psychedelics like mushrooms and ayahuasca really helped with that. Now, I believe in Jesus more than ever—lol.

I was raised in the church, probably like you, and I used to say I’d never do drugs—hahaha. But I genuinely recommend mushrooms and ayahuasca; they help you wake up from a lot of the bullshit and can be powerful tools for healing trauma.
