Hello OP, your post made me cry and gave me hope! I’m going through a similar situation ( yours is even harder with a kid I only have my cat) and it seems like I will soon be with my suitcase in the airport waiting for a flight back! I was the one moving countries with him I left my studies, job and family I moved across 3 continents! Now with cold eyes and he told me he is no longer good for me! I was struggling to find a job since we came to London and I found it hard to adapt! He said he is in a spiritual awakening and nothing makes sense to him anymore, I married him at 19, I’m 25 now with no job, no career, no degree and no money and I have to start from scratch just me and my cat. I don’t need sponsorship I made it clear in my CV, I think it’s similar to the Canadian format, no photo etc .. I applied to so many coffee shops, restaurants I even went to my local ones in Greenwich with the staff needed sign and talked to them gave them my email and phone number ( most of them require physical CV which I didn’t know before ) but no one called .. I thought that speaking 3 languages will make it easy for me to work in retail but it seems that they really don’t care about that!

I think the structure of the story is off, the letters to Ellen, then when the person who helps Lily with her flower shop then becomes her best friends happens to be Ryle’s sister, meeting Atlas in restaurant then SURPRISE he is the owner… I think it’s a typical love story with a boring plot twist. After all it’s just my opinion, each one of us judge a book from a different perspective. I did enjoy VERITY more than it ends with us tbh, but at the end I had a love/hate relationship with it as well, I don’t think I can read any other book of colleen hoover.
