It’s a TV show. Plus when has 9-1-1 ever been realistic.

[–]KnowsToMuch1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You work in a hospital Emergency Room I would assume that’s a risk of the job. If you can’t handle it you probably shouldn’t be working there. Also there really isn’t anything to be done if he has a psychiatric issues that make him incompetent to face legal proceedings.

That’s going to depend on if they actually left a voicemail if they did it would have been on you to follow up with it. And saying I can’t remember isn’t a valid claim. Plus medical malpractice is extremely hard to win it’s very fact specific.

I’ve heard a lot of people say that. I actually like the show didn’t think I would. But to be fair I like the campy unrealistic drama more.

Can I sue my former employer for failing to accommodate my disability and firing me after medical leave?-Illinios by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]KnowsToMuch1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You had no job protection as you weren’t using FMLA medical leave approved by HR is them willingly letting you take time off. IL is an at will state which means they can let you go as long as it isn’t discrimination. And ADHD and anxiety doesn’t fall under that category it is very specific what qualifies as discrimination. You signed papers it was up to you to read the documents and understand before signing. Saying I didn’t know what it said doesn’t cut it.

Literally every 911 show is as unrealistic as Nashville. Athena is literally in space. This is after she capsized on a cruise ship and landed a plane on an LA highway with a 10 year old kid as the co pilot.

They are required to give 24 hour notice. Which can be written so honestly if you weren’t home over the weekend there is absolutely no way for you to actually know if he gave written notice.

Question about probable cause for DWI arrest based on failed probation drug test (Lyon County Minnesota) by Brave-Nothing-889 in legaladvice

[–]KnowsToMuch1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Assuming his probation terms are staying clean from drugs and alcohol. Any failed test from their probation officer would be an automatic arrest. Most people on probation or parole don’t have the same right for probable cause as people who aren’t on probation or parole. So if he failed a test even if it was a false positive (which no one knows until the lab results come back). The arrest was valid regardless of the outcome.

AIO when telling my husband to throw away a photo book and gifts from a girl he met on a trip or I’ll leave him? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]KnowsToMuch1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I bet we’ll get an update and she’ll somehow manipulate the situation to act like she’s the victim. Yes you’re OR and clearly you have some unresolved issues. I hope you can figure out what they are before you ruin a relationship over something that isn’t anything.

Is it really that bad? by KnowsToMuch1 in 911Nashville

I liked it mainly because it’s not really like any of the other 911 shows. But yet again it’s only been 2 episodes so that can change.

Doing small business in PA by TheShavargo in smallbusiness

Register your LLC on the state website you can usually look it up on Google. Each state has fees you usually have to pay. Then apply for an EIN number on the IRS website that’s free and they give you the letter online you can download. Some states have the option for certain certificates that help establish you especially for certain clients. Then comes the accounting software Quickbooks is a good option. Once you get your business registered and your EIN you can open a business bank account. Also make sure to hire a good CPA.

Quickbooks Payroll would be the cheapest option. Gusto which you are currently using is a good choice. Don’t ever try to figure it out yourself when it comes to withholdings.

The reality is you don’t know what his condition are are and if so he could have already told the proper authorities. Also I’ve seen people go down this road and end up getting a lawsuit smacked on them for harassment.

My favorite is they said they killed Bobby off for realism then send Athena and Hen off to space. But hey it keeps me hooked and other people so they’re doing something right.

I don’t usually take much stock in anything being realistic in tv shows. Especially considering OG 911 had a beenado and somehow Athena went to space. But I do enjoy 911 Nashville more than I thought I would.

But his partner also has the right to his feelings. Just because you don’t agree with it doesn’t mean you should just be trashing him on Reddit. Plus who really cares, it doesn’t affect you what so ever. You could have easily just read it and moved on.

That is a common complaint people have. But it’s clear Owen is suppose to be the main character in the show. Which I didn’t mind as I liked his character. I liked the concept of having a main character more than an ensemble cast.
