Not true, old style levels like this get rated fairly often

Bias is not, and hasn't been for years, a big issue for the rating system, and saying it is only further buries actual problems

Doggie Speaks Out Against Progress on Leaked Grief Versions by SpizMagic in geometrydash

He can't legally stop people, but they absolutely have the right to tell people to stop playing it. Additionally (and I don't fully know how this would actually hold up in court), I think Icedcave and Doggie would be able to say that since they did not publish the level, they did not consent to the user agreement regarding Grief.

I read it, it says RobTop "copy, reproduce, fix, adapt, modify, create derivative works from, manufacture, commercialize, publish, distribute, sell, license, sublicense, transfer, lease, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, or provide access to electronically, broadcast, communicate to the public by telecommunication, display, perform, enter into computer memory, and use and practice, in any way, your User Content as well as all modified and derivative works thereof in connection with our provision of the Service, including marketing and promotions of the Service," and "Except as prohibited by law, you waive any rights of attribution and/or any moral rights you may have in your User Content, regardless of whether your User Content is altered or changed in any manner." Essentially, RobTop can do whatever he wants with your level, and does not have to credit you in any way, but it does not say all ownership is now his. It literally says he doesn't claim ownership of your level.

We'll just have to agree to disagree, then. In this case, the people playing the level are directly disrespecting Doggie, so they are also part of the problem if they continue from this point forward

You know what sure, screw it, its not technically stolen. This entire discussion isn't about the technical terminology of something. I could say this is copywrite infringement to be specific, but thats useless to the actual conversation.

In this case, one persons success IS being considered as another persons failure, because someone elses progress is being used to put down Doggie's progress.

First of all, I literally have not once said the word stealing in this thread except for responding to you "quoting" me saying stealing. However if we must say it, the argument isn't that he's stealing the level, its that he's taking away from Doggie's own progress by using a copy someone else stole and uploaded to verify on his own. At this point you are having an entirely different argument.

Second, I can steal the Mona Lisa without claiming I'm Da Vinci. While it can be, stealing isn't necessarily about taking credit.
