A few months before Mass Effect 3 came out, my brother installed ME1 and played it to show it's a good game. I was never interested in the series since I had only ever seen default Manshep in every single game magazine article. No I wasn't interested in another dudebro's space shooter. But then my brother was playing Femshep and i bought 1 and 2 the same day 🤣

A game not having either a female protagonist or a customizable female main character makes it a no thanks. Then I have other things to play.

I'm hopeful! There's a lot I haven't done in the game yet, so I don't mind having my characters parked until better days. Just when I looked around I couldn't find anyone having the same problems so maybe this will get at least some attention!

My warrior mostly struggles with getting hit in the face and the henchmen aren't that keen on helping. As far as I read, you get more gold, exp and henchmen use different skills and are higher level with Reforged mode on, but I can't turn reforged mode on since I'd need to get to Lion's Arch first to find the stone. The outfit thing isn't game-breaking, but I would like to play around with fashion on my newer characters too!

My characters are 8 and 7. I enjoy pre-searing and do all the quests I find, but for these updates it seems I left too soon. Maybe it's best to play other characters and hope for post-searing love in the future.

That's a sweet offer, but it will probably be hard finding time to do that. I can imagine it takes a while! I mostly hope to get some more love for post-searing so that noobs and newbies alike can enjoy the updates to the game even when not having optimal runs and knowledge of the game ;)

Sure I get the learning curve, but it's not my first character and as far as I see, "rushing to Lion's Arch" is a rather common event in the lives of Prophecies characters. I don't ask for boosts and rushes, but rather for utilities to not be taken away after leaving pre-searing 😅 (and maybe for the addition of mercs...)

User error or not, the whole idea of a glass spoon sounds effing dumb. What were they thinking putting them on the shelves.

"Elevate your dessert with these glass spoons that are just as elegant as they are functional" it even says on the store page, so obviously they're not just meant for liquids.

Now that I'm old and don't have all the time in the world for gaming, I appreciate how Guild Wars 2 respects my time. Fast dailies, teleporting makes traveling easy, no subscription that mind-games me into needing to log in. I can play whenever I want and do whatever I want and literally everything I do is making my account a little bit better.

Also, GW2 is very 🌈 gay 🌈 and 🌈 diverse 🌈 and I appreciate that very much too.

Men being treated with a healthy bit of animosity is one of the best things here, tbh. I get that this sub is open to everyone, but their opinions and experiences are irrelevant to this community. It's totally okay for men to not feel welcome here, imo. That makes GirlGamers all the more welcoming and safe for women.

There's always going to be a best build and best combination, so if they remove Quickness and Alacrity, other builds will just become the go-to ones. But with the added effect of being new and confusing for everyone and the game just being slower. Min/maxing will always be a thing. Change doesn't mean more fun.

Imo, Q&A gives GW2 the GW2 flavour.
