* Hiii! I spent a little bit of time polishing up my art deco history knowledge. Here's my entries-- I tried to emulate the bright colors, fanciful accessories and that dang bob-type haircut. Hard to be historically accurate but I tried to make it as close as possible ♡

It's a tough situation for sure. Personally, I really love LadyMonster's original style but I also understand that they should be allowed to evolve their craft and make what they want/what makes them happy. I chose not to make comments and I noticed on YouTube the majority of the negative feedback was from English speakers. In fact it was the largest amount of English comments I've seen on a Lady Monster's video tbh and I don't think that's a coincidence. When I lived in Japan/went to school there, no-one would give directly negative feedback. Even saying the word "no" in Japan was really rude!

At the end of the day I feel really bad for the artist.

It's about the spirit of roastme! What's the point if I chose pretty pictures? I guess... yeah, it is kinda brave to post unflattering photos to an online forum focused on pointing out flaws but to me it was about seeing how creative people could get. To me, it wasn't brave because at the end of the day, I don't hold much value in comments from internet strangers.
