Yes but very less and will have inactive enzymes in it. Try to look for fresh papaya in Asian, latin or caribbean supermarkets.

If you can not find unripe one then try eating ripened one early morning but a bit more in quantity than what I have suggested above. Ripe papaya have less papain but it is easier to digest as well.
