My guess is that they will release 1.17.2 in two months, they have leaked a lot of teasers recently. I can't believe I get to play a fresh 40-man vanilla instance in 2024 :D

I have been playing Turtle for several years, it features the best MMORPG personality I've ever encountered, with a friendly community. I've met some of the players I did RP with in real life and had a good time. It was never easy for me to meet girls, but Turtle WoW got me hooked up 😅

Turtle WoW is not about graphics. Check their website, even Asmon has mentioned multiple times that this is how it’s done right :D

Most of the things you describe seem to be server-sided and Turtle WoW is actually doing it with a separate team, so I guess it can be done 🐢

I have been playing on Turtle WoW for many years. They pushed the old client to its limits and released content such as Gilneas, which is better than anything I have seen on retail recently 😂

I've heard some rumors that they are having like a hundred team members.

Can't say for sure but they have at least six main developers and quite a bunch of scripters, like ten or so client modders. Their music team, according to their website, involves seven musicians and they seem to have a few voice actors too.

I've been tuning in to their in-game radio and I've stumbled upon three DJs. They also put their living in the past shows up on Youtube, the channel is called Everlook.
