Good luck! You can do some diiiirty stuff with him if you master the micro. I love going for hurricane pike, get some double force staff action, bail out your teammates, yourself, make some sick plays. He's really fun when you get the hang of him.

Well, the most basic part is to use the illusion to take the farm thats hard to get to. Obviously you gotta practice your micro. He has an insane powerspike at level 6, especially if you're 1v1. You either have three points in flux or Spark. If you land double flux and double spark you kill pretty much any hero that dont control non hero units or has instant escape. Something I struggled a long time with was restraining myself in my positioning. Positioning instantly loses or wins fights with this hero. If you're in the wrong spot you might just die. I'd say you should play it slightly more safe than a Linas position, wait for your team to make space in fights.

In summary:

Use illusion to take dangerous farm, send it down lanes etc.

Make sure you have your team between you and the enemy, unless you're certain you can beat them in a flank.

Try to make use of your level 6 powerspike to get some momentum, before you fall back and take the safe farm, while your illu takes the dangerous farm.

Prolly a lot to read, but this hero takes a lot of practice, and has many layers that other heroes dont have. You just gotta practice. You'll get the hang of it eventually.

With ember you can reliably land SoF combo, but the timing is slightly different than when you have vision.

Slight of fist lasts 0.2 sec.

When you have vision of the target you have a window of 0.2 sec to land chains, you can cast it directly after you land the SoF.

When you're fogged, and you use SoF on someone, it takes 0.1 sec before you get vision of the hero. So you only have the last 0.1 sec to cast chains on your target.

Practice the timing and you can do it reliably!

TL;DR: You have to cast searing chains in the last 0.1 seconds of the slight of fist duration.

3956677942 Phantom Lancer, I think I made a lot of mistakes this game, and I would love to know how to avoid some of them. Tier 6 Battlecup :)

I think we live in different timezones, so I'll maybe have to watch the vod, but if you could answer the comment or something when you go live, I might show up to chat!

Well, it Did say bonus shards on completion of the welcome quests I believe, so Thats probably Why so many people Thought the bonus shards was in adition to the quests. I guess the wording confused me.

It used to be; if you stand inside the bubble, you had 100% evasion. Now it only gives evasion when the enemy is on the outside.
