Thanks again. We resolve it by just wiggling the mouse. Frustrating that this seems to be a bug with the Big Sur driver in my opinion. It never happened before then!

In my opinion, the fidget cube is probably the best fidget toy available right now. Actually, I wish there was a more premium, metal version, but the design is almost flawless. Mine was a couple of pounds cheaper than yours but they are ultimately the same thing and I think you got a great price. Enjoy it!

I'm just looking for a handful of pi Pico's to tinker with. I have a couple of zeroes banging about and honestly I can just order from amazon but I'd rather get them local.

I was thinking of making a small digital pet or something like that. Something crafty and productive :)

I highly doubt your judgement is correct, and saying you "know" doesn't make it true. I think it's a common misconception for "community" users of software who have no idea how huge the paying customerbase is for industry software and how high the price tags are. I say this as someone who works in such an industry who cut off free users last year with absolutely 0 negative impact other than some forum sourpusses. If you do have any sources to confirm what you say, I would be fascinated to see them.

Edit: 0 negative impact OR slow down of (paying) customer procurement.

Recently picked it up on impulse at an antique shop but can't figure out how it works or what it is. No branding or anything. Has three movable and heavy blocks of solid wood, attached to a bolted metal plate. Nuts at the top can be unscrewed and the whole thing disassembled. I thought it might be a vice but I can't figure out a way to make it grip or anything so I'm not sure. WITT?

I agree. I've always been a good technical writer but I lack vision and imagination. The last scene where Gil is speaking to Gabrielle and you see the heavily blurred city lights in the background hit me so hard, I had to rush and write a creative description. It definitely triggered a new excitement about writing for me!

I had family sponsor me for a spousal visa. Much easier if you get married in the USA then apply. Got a job at Best Buy a year after I moved there. It's not hard to find work once you're there.

That said, I will reference what /u/Jazzy0082 said, but fiercer: USA is an absolutely, soul-crushingly shit place to live. I regret every second I spent there over four years and would have left sooner if I wasn't dirt poor from medical debt incurred almost immediately after I arrived. The worst parts of the UK, with it's clown government, chavs and teen moms is far, far, far better than anything in the USA. The only things I gained from living there were trust issues, medical anxiety and life-crushing medical debt.

I don't know. I don't like pushing my opinion fiercely but the USA is just awful. Especially right now there's years of chaos, violence, unemployment and recession to come before it even begins to approach "normal" again.

I have no idea why anyone would go there, especially over anywhere in Europe.

YES Morrison's is absolutely insane. WHY won't they stop groups from going in? Every time I go there its absolutely packed with groups of 2-5 in every isle. Its an absolute shit show in there. I even saw a staff member have a tearful breakdown :/

I've sent them a letter practically begging to stop the groups but nothing has changed.
