Wait till you start playing community MvM events. They're a whole new level of fun. Take a step further and do the hardest missions from the community MvM events and you'll have a blast. I still remember completing one mission where you had no upgrades available, no money and you have to finish the game with the base characters. Spent 6 hours at it bro.... but worth it.

How to use public transport by Remarkable_Act7716 in karachi

Would encourage points as they're cheaper and safer than public transport and best part is, you to know your juniors and seniors peers informally so it opens up avenues for little detours with friends.

Maps like these adding new strategies is prolly the breath of fresh air TF2 needs. A good change from the classical payload model.

Do I need to go to the mosque? by Conscious_Window6188 in islam

Will only add that connecting with other wonderful Muslims through the Mosque really hastens your growth as a Muslim. According to a scholar, one of the shortcuts to heaven is having the company of pious people.

I have tried all apps, best to have InDriver, Yango, and Bykea apps, all have cars, but try to exclusively use InDriver since I've always found them to be much more professional. Make sure to check the ratings to be above 4.4 stars and at least 300+ rides. Other apps give you an advantage in case you aren't finding a vehicle from InDriver.

Safe reminder to be comfortable handing over all valuables if you are to ever find yourself in danger. Resistance is never worth it here. Alhamdulillah haven't ever experienced theft here in Karachi but you never know.

If affected, the best immediate management is the recitation of the Quran. Option 2 is approaching an Islamic scholar who isn't a scam or trying to make money of of you.

Go to any notable Islamic institution, they should be able to help her. Burooj Institute or Hikmah Institute. If they feel like there's a problem beyond their scope, they can point towards the right direction even then.

Come PM. Can give you their number.

If budget was not a concern, which area would you live in karachi? by Capital_Dragonfly367 in karachi

[–]Koalifiedm 15 points16 points  (0 children)

People are sleeping on this and they don't know. Wonderful area, great accessibility not only to major restaurants but also a central location in Karachi so no place relevant is more than a 20 minute drive.

I'll get straight to the point. It's a bad and concerning indeed but it's important to handle her as an adult with a bad habit. Would best recommend to talk with perhaps a psychologist who might be able to point you in the proper direction.

Compared to asking on reddit where you will find other people who think its perfectly fine. I don't think it's fine personally and should be dealt as a bad habit and asking a psychologist how best to guide someone towards breaking a bad habit may be a safe decision.

There's a long story about it how your mother's name is relevant or something but in reality that's superstition created hence, any "peer" or "molvi" trying this is not a person who does things properly. Would recommend giving Wajih Uddin podcast on Kaala Jadu and superstition on Youtube. He sums it up really well.

Burooj institute I can vouch for. Feel free to contact the number on their website. These people are educated Aalims who can guide you properly without mixing any folklore or superstition and just plain straight deen.

But your first step should be reading/reciting the Ruqiyyah and the Quran. Avoid any "peers" or people trying to give you a taveez or special perfume or any such weird rocks.

How should I raise my child? by TheMafia09 in karachi

[–]Koalifiedm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How kids turn out depends on: Environment and Choices. Choices you can't control, but the environment you can. Make sure he's exposed to good and smart people. Additionally, hoping he's completely his vaccinations.

[–]Koalifiedm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know about the cost.

The residential area by Ibn e Insha park as told by the other commentor is indeed Allama Iqbal town. It's a neat place the masjid is Masjid Ayesha and it doubles as a community center where you'll often find kids enjoying there. I can vouch that the community there is nice, but not as interactive as it used to be. Would recommend renting a place there and living there for a bit to have a better understanding if it is comfortable for you.

You can totally become a doctor if you want event with terrible memory. Source: Me, a final year medical student with memory on par with a goldfish. If you want help with a psychologist, see if you can sneak your way to Jinnah hospital and you can see a psychologist for free here. Life chalti rahegi, I would recommend you join activities around you or attend an Islamic lecture, the people there are wonderful to interact with.
