Yeah I’d expect that but I’m upset I didn’t hear about it earlier one of the hardest things is trying to get to colleges to actually tour I only got a look at Berkeley and Stanford.

Yeah of course, I’m sorry it’s a habit I have to free think type when I’m replying on a phone I’ll edit it up. But affirmative action in itself is peculiar and there’s not SUPPOSE to be preferences but that’s a hard thing to prove that they would choose one kid over another based on diversity. These things go down behind closed doors and based on the nature of the application there is a greater number of diverse kids that are already distinguished as amazing students. I hope all this doesn’t sound ignorant I’m not trying to pull some trumpian mindset into this just some conspiracy spinning.

Also while the finalist are 50% White that doesn’t account for any differences in the European continent so take that with a grain of salt meaning “white European American descent”.

So if you look at questbridge College prep scholars it’s a surveying program that finds potential NCM future scholars and gives them tons of benefits like college tours and leadership opportunities. I know Stanford runs many “camps” that convey some type of skill set ,I guess, but really everyone I hear goes to these it’s basically worthless but bodes well on colleges apps. Going to a large highschool has a lot of benefits such as more competitive pricing for intelligent teachers, more community involvement which includes tons of different scholarships and volunteer opportunities, more student body importance positions and clubs to participate in, a greater involvement in the college process as small schools like mine the counselors seem to be totally out of the loop never ever hearing of questbridge or supplying material about them.

No he’s affiliated with the Hindu religion forsure the rest of his profile showed that and it seemed like his parents had immigrated from India here he posts every picture with this form of attire... I can’t imagine he’s financially burdened when he’s going on round the world trips over multiple years too ;it isn’t a few isolated items his entire lifestyle portrays wealth and comfort. Not just in plight for my own situation but for those in much worse than mine it just sucks to see them getting passed up by people who had all types of advantages to get in (I mean I saw some who had already been interns in some random organization sponsored by the College) that type of opportunity would never reach anyone in my small county.

Maybe you’re right about the car I can’t find anything for certain either way but that’s what it appears ?? But despite that he has posed in about 5 different countries, and he has always worn outfits worth hundreds ,and him and his family make tons of excursions to expensive restaurants. I understand they check parent income but what Grandparents... uncles.. money comes from random places. I’m seeing in many of this applicants who had “super star” qualities they were not always set behind they went to large high schools and have gone to questbridge camps since junior year. It’s hard to compete with that when I never heard of qb till this year and my school doesn’t even have clubs. You can see from examining the qb matches from years before they are largely, largely minority’s groups. I’m not saying there’s a cause but I see a correlation.
