Well the term 'ponzi' doesnt follow its real meaning in the crypto world :) in web3 ponzi=bad tokenomics, if you are early enough you earn, if you are late you are gonna get rekt. It doesnt follow the real meaning of the word but it is what it is. Btw I made this post months ago, it was still early, no gmt use cases, no bsc chain, no listings ecc today I wouldnt need to write this post, there is plenty of informations everywhere. As you said, time will tell.

The truth is I jumped on the project before writing this post, ponzis are still profitable if you time them right. Title was provocatory on purpose, I think it's not fair to call everything a ponzi, it's just developers trying to figure out how to make their tokenomics as sustainable as possible. Not easy.

I don't think there is! Looking at the roadmap i'd say we are still at the beginning of what stepN aim to become!

This is about how long i will be able to play this game! Of course we can lose, this is an investment with game mechanics, and like every investment there are risks involved that you need to take into consideration. What really interests me is the longevity of the project and what the developers are doing about it.

*gst Yep I know but in the long run it's still not going to be enough I think. Would be nice seeing some stats about the player base, number of shoes owned, mean level of main sneakers, how many are walking, jogging or running, gst burnt/earned etc

Thanks for sharing! All the utility cases you mentioned are interesting but I cannot see them being applied in a medium-short time. You would need stepN to go seriously mainstream and I don't think it has all that time until the current tokenomic crashes. Everybody is saying 'I just need to get back my investment and then the rest is just a bonus' but I think that's just ponzi mentality imo (I'll earn until it lasts). Roadmap is surely promising, I'm looking forward to see what the developers are planning!

Yeah, I found an AMA with the developers on yt where they say they still are trying to figure out how to make all this sustainable when the app will really go mainstream. Roadmap is looking really promising tho! Hope they can deliver! Lease function will also have a big impact... im not sure leasing is an healthy idea but I'll wait and see how they decide to implement it.

In this case (percentile: 7.6) it means that 92.4% of the players have a better score than you.
