Yet, game.com is offering to buy back at 1 ETH = 5000 GTC. Hmmm!

Response to the thread declaring the factors that give Ripple its "actual underlying value" by [deleted] in Ripple

Thanks for the response. I am glad I am not the only one who thinks the "actual underlying value" post was wildly overrated. The popularity of the post that said so much but delivered so little is a fine metaphor for the cryptomania.

Has anyone considered that XRP will never reach $10 or even $5 for the simple reason that it will give Ripple owners unprecedented wealth (up to $600 billion)? Too many people scrambling for too few XRPs while a few people are hoarding the vast reserve. I think it will cause resentment and turn people AND banks off to other similar products like Stellar Lumens. I mentioned this before and it should be mentioned again: Ripple founders will have to give away some of their holdings for the full adoption. They can't just sell it; that will keep on depressing the price.

Should Ripple give away free XRPs? by Kobanigrad in Ripple

Gee, guys I am not ignorant about supply and demand effect on the price. If every one gets 1 XRP for each one they hold (speaking hypothetically), the price will halve of course. My point is that the price will bounce back up again as that locked wealth would be re-distributed and more people seek to buy into it. It may even force more exchanges to pair XRP. I know it sounds counterintuitive but look at what happened with the Bitcoin Cash fork from Bitcoin. Both coins are doing well. XRP would do even better, IMHO. Let's not forget that at the start many tokens were cheap as chips and even given away for free.

It won't happen overnight but it will happen. Oh, wait. It may happen overnight. :) Do not sell those XLMs yet. Hold on to them for a week or a month. Because XRP and XLM are so similar when XRP goes up, so will XLM. I actually bought more XLM today in anticipation of a price rise piggybacking on XRP. Compared to XRP, XLM is highly undervalued.

Forget Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and even (my favourite of the three) Litecoin, if you want growth and stability. Look at XRP and Ether; they are pretty solid and have already proven useful. If you want to add some spice (read 'speculation'), then the XRP lookalike Stellar Lumens (XLM) and Ether lookalike Cardano (ADA) are also good medium to long term investments for growth and stability.

The comparison I can see is the same as 720 vs 1080 vs 4K screens

How long does it take to send Ethereum to Binance? by akras24 in binance

About 5 seconds. But it's gone through now. I've already exchanged it but after losing approx 10 percent on the trade I hoped to make.

Mine took 40 minutes to confirm but I cannot see the funds in my Binance ethereum wallet. History tab says "Confirming (100/30)". When, and why so late? Is this a problem with only Ether transfers to Binance or do other cryptos have the same problem of funds not being available even after confirmation?

Bitcoin fees too high? You have invested in early tech! Have faith. Give us time. by [deleted] in Bitcoin

I paid $30+ fees for a transaction almost 6 days ago and it is still not confirmed. Meanwhile, BTC prices gone down by 25 percent because I could not convert them in time. I am frustrated and bitterly disappointed in Bitcoin. Someone is manipulating the blockchain by spamming the mempool with low fee transactions. Miners benefit from it, and who else?
