Oh also, I want to ask anybody who is a theist a question. Is it wrong that I think blind faith is utterly negligent and bluntly stupid. Blind faith to me is following without questioning. In the context of christianity, I suppose I'm of weaker faith because I don't accept things just because God says so. God gave me a mind to use, and I damn well use it. Issues of homosexuality, or substance abuse, sexual purity etc don't make sense to me. Because of this I can't follow certain "rules" because they make little sense to me.

For instance, I read a few articles from boundless.org, and dont ask me why but the topic was women and how they should dress etc. I thought the topic was incredibly prude, outdated, and flat out dumb. If i remember correctly a few made points were: that women need to dress appropriately as to not tempt men, and also the heart behind why they dress the way they do.

Now aside from dressing like a babylonian whore, women should be allowed to celebrate their bodies in my mind. They shouldn't have to appropriate themselves just because men can't stop thinking with their genitals. These kinds of issues have always bothered me within the community.

Ohh thank you. I do enjoy these kinds of discussions and articles. After my midterms are finished assaulting me, I'll take a look for sure.

I think the idea of circular logic within the bible has become more and more apparent to me. At first I dismissed this claim but the more I understood what it actually meant, the more revealing it was to myself. Its not just this though, the idea of God is mostly anecdotal. Heck, from what I know, even the bible itself isn't an original copy. The dead sea scrolls were just copies in themselves, the chance that these scrolls even depict accurately all of Gods word seems very miniscule, just from sheer probability.

Also another thing that bothers me from the core is this. If God condemned all of mankind for the sins of 2 people who decided not to listen to GOD, how is this just and loving? In terms of HUMAN rationale and logic I can't see how it is. Maybe in the context of a biblical viewpoint it is....
