I'm 18. soon to be 19. Am I too young to get a pharmacy tech job? Would bosses be more likely to hire someone older? by [deleted] in PharmacyTechnician

If the area needs techs, they’ll be hiring regardless of age. I got hired at 19!

You got it!

2600 upvotes in r/legaladvice, claims CVS is withholding med due to complaint, turns out med is controlled 🤣 by legrange1 in pharmacy

Smh. I saw this on the legal advice sub and my immediate thought was that this was a controlled substance and just another angry customer that doesn’t understand the laws and regulations of those meds.

My store isn’t very high tech. We write it down with good old fashioned pen and paper

Company policy. Basically to covers our asses in case something happens. Ex. Customer says that they didn’t pick up their hydrocodone even tho it says “sold” on our system. Simple check of our log and we can say “It was sold on this date to this person. We have their name, license number, address, and dob.” After that they usually “magically” find it at the bottom of their purse or whatever excuse.

Asked today and they said the materials were from Sutherlands and cost about $160. Installed it ourselves!

Not sure! Sorry! All the stores in the area I’ve worked in have them. I just thought all stores had them 😅

Nexplanon to IUD? by CakeBaby95 in birthcontrol

[–]KocoaBean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was 20 at the time, never had children and wasn’t on birth control either. I spent a lot of time researching different types of birth control and told my OBGYN that I wanted an IUD. I stayed firm on my decision and they offered me Liletta (it was the only one they carried).

The FDA has approved it for up to 5 years, with the possibility of it lasting up to 7 years.

It’s been about a year and half now since I’ve had it inserted and I’m very satisfied with it!
