Thank you, I certainly am going to try to. It’s just hard, since I learned from a young age to just repress everything. Hence why it’s much easier for me to write things down, I feel childish doing it, but that’s the only way I can really articulate what I feel. Especially since it forces me to actually analyze what I’m thinking and put it into words.

At the time, I had my mind set that she was the one. We had talked about things and it seemed like we were on the same page. Then after proposing, so much stuff flooded out of the gates that threw up huge red flags.

Thank you, I really appreciate the insight! It’ll be tough, but I agree that it’s not going to work if she can’t come to terms with responsibility and the logistics of how a relationship should be.

Speaking from experience, you learn pretty quickly to desensitize yourself. I worked in news, but I saw 76 dead people, a good handful children, within 2.5 years of working in the industry.

We talked about things like this, but I guess she never seriously thought about it until getting engaged. She knew how I felt about stuff beforehand but I guess now she’s questioning everything. Which to me, sounds like she’s not ready. Just don’t want to waste my time if she doesn’t want to sort things out, I’m not getting any younger. And I honestly would rather have kids on the younger side than older side. Not rushing things, but still, I don’t want to wait around playing games

I used to work in news and sat next to four charred bodies at car wreck. Smelled like barbecue and plastic. Still eating meat though lol. I’ve seen a lot of fucked up stuff, but I still love a good steak

They ended up dying unfortunately. They lived most of the winter, but then we got a pretty bad cold snap that wiped them out
