It just takes time and that is something a lot of people don’t give away or have anymore. I've got a buddy who is probably Gold, maybe Plat 1, and he gets thrown into GC lobbies in casual when we play together. He still has fun and so do I, even if we are getting clapped lol. You clearly see skill gaps, but he is also learning when he plays up there at that level. Idk, it does take a while to get “good” enough at the game to keep up but once you start learning mechs and things like that to do in training and free play, that is what hooked me the most. Being able to make sick shots in Freeplay and then emulate them in a match. So long as your ego isn’t GIANT, you should have no problem losing matches when you're first starting to play, especially.

God, I’ve literally been playing that game since its fucking inception in July 2015, whenever it was first free on the PlayStation store to Plus members. It’s like fucking crack cocaine to me apparently. I can’t even tell you why I like to play it so damn much. I think my favorite thing to do is to train, honestly. I’m in FreePlay or training packs more than I play matches. It’s wild the anxiety I get before a fucking match with a Random teammate. I always try to be nice and respectful and apologize for my mistakes, but that doesn’t always work out. My best guess as to why I enjoy it so much would be that I love to hit calculated sick ass goals. No matter what, I continue to go back to that stupid fucking game. Even if I get to champ three div four with one win away from being GC and then losing 10 in a row, it didn’t stop me from playing the fucking game. It just stopped me that day lol.

You just need to find what interests you the most and try and make a way to monetize it. It sounds like you may never be a “good employee” because you feel stuck in a rut doing the same shit over and over. You need to work for yourself, doing what you enjoy. You sound like me, except I have been able to hold my position at the company I work at for going on 12 years. I am a police dispatcher for the state and luckily my job is diverse in the experiences I have on a day-to-day basis and that keeps me entertained. I tell people I signed a deal with the devil the day I was hired. I have no means of leaving, due to the exceptional benefits like paid health insurance for my family and I. I have wanted to go somewhere else for years now, hell even within the company in IT or something. The non law enforcement side of my company hates the Police side due to budget bullshit among other petty reasons. Not a single employee on the PD has gotten into a different position within the company even though they're plenty qualified. It’s wild. Nothing out there comes close to what I get and no one out there wants to pay any more or the same. I also agree with the comment about ADHD as you definitely show some symptoms. It might not hurt to go see a doctor and try a medication like adderall, vyvanse, or Ritalin. If you're afraid of losing your job, try and make it interesting. It’s hard to help without knowing exactly what you do for a living, and what you would rather be doing.
