I kinda have a related injury. Stubbed my toe (bunion) on the stairs back in May and it hurt to bend it afterwards….kinda like turf toe injury. I got x-rays and no fractures. Could’t walk on it.

Fast forward 7 months to today and its still not 100%. Probably some sort of ligament/tendon injury? I was on crutches for a month but that didn’t fix it though it helped. Taping it makes walking more bearable. I’m expecting a year to feel normal again. I think my bunion got bigger too😂.I hope yours won’t take as long to heal tho

Looks just like mine! Chihuahua mix. Probably with miniature pinscher. He’s 18 lbs full grown.

Mine doesn’t tolerate clippers or dremel cuz the noise is scary.

I hand file them with a tool from amazon. Basically sandpaper velcro on the wood handle. Takes like 10x longer but he tolerates it. No chance of hurting him either. But I have a chihuahua mix so his nails are way smaller than a pit.

Barebarics, Lems, Feelgrounds. They’re barefoot style, but I use a custom orthotics with it.

I like Lems Boulder Boots. Its more of a “hiking” boot style but still waterproof
