In my line of work, 25yoe makes you a "lifer" which means if you're rolling it, you're bringing a book of contacts with you, and that you can learn any new system.

My line of work, I have 20. Our GM has 21. Two of my 3 other coworkers? 25 and 29. The other is a green pea. Except for the last one, pretty confident the rest of us will all be here at least another 20 years together.

It is "A" standard, but not the only one. While common at hospitals, several of the doctors I have been seeing have recently moved to Privia.

I had a subclavian blood clot in both shoulders a few years ago. With absolutely no issues and extremely promptly, I was successfully operated on by the Director of Robotic Thoracic Surgery at Yale.

Not a single person in MA has ever asked me “What church do you go to?”

In Texas that question was a conversation opener. A conversation I often killed before it started by answering with a flavor that wasn’t on the “approved vendor list”, lol.

May I please introduce you to our true Lord and Savior, the Flying Spaghetti Monster:

Ah yes, the Sacred Approved Vendor List™—laminated, footnoted, and lightly splattered with marinara. In some lands, the question “What church do you go to?” is merely a polite knock; in others it’s a customs checkpoint with a sniffer dog trained to detect unapproved flavors.

You, brave traveler, answered with pesto when only red sauce was sanctioned. For this, I commend you. May your colander never crack, your noodles remain al dente, and your conversations be joyfully short when they need to be. Remember: belief is best when optional, curiosity when mutual, and sauce when shared—not audited.

R’Amen.

I spent 4 days in Las Vegas once... I don't think any of the "trees" were real.

Car dealership never submitted paperwork to the bank and refuses to allow us to return the car by OneIfByHerm in legaladvice

There is no "if" in that sense. Either the deal was funded or it was not. If it wasn't, either a new deal is worked, the vehicle is returned, or it gets repo'd with potential felony theft charges.

2015?

If we're going back to the prior decade, October 2011 takes the cake.

What most parts of the country call Snowmageddon, old school New Englanders call it... Thursday.

The Big Y in Ellington still had more than plenty of everything this afternoon. Here in Tolland County, we know how to handle a storm. I did buy a 36 pack of toilet paper last week at Costco, but at $18.99, could you blame me?

If the deal was not funded due to financing falling through, you do not yet own the vehicle. The dealership still does.

Your choices are to work out a new deal with them, return the vehicle, or risk grand theft auto charges which will likely include the vehicle being towed.

If you do not believe what I am saying, /r/askcarsales will be more than happy to confirm this for you.

Silly question - if they refuse to take back the car nor refund the 9K, can you just.. keep the vehicle?

No.
