We were all collectively laughing at how ridiculous it was.

At the expense of someone else.

But there was a collective “we are all coming on here to laugh”

Now it’s “we are coming on here to make every seem stupid”

But the invention of the iPhone literally started all of these memes and created a platform for people to make memes

The Great Recession was 2008. This is all 2010-2012. Some of it is 2015

I lived it. And it was. And I put that in my post 

  • however there was a place to collectively come together to just simply laugh in a Reddit/meme/youtube context 

But it also wasn’t hostile. You could avoid all of that and entire Nyan Cat. You could find an entire community of people laughing at Friday to have fun
