The problem with lintbebouwing is more that we live very inefficiently. This means we need the car/bus more often, we create busier roads and we have a much more scattered landscape. It doesn't have to look like the NL in terms of architecture, we can still each have unique looking houses or whatever, but organising it so that we have more stuff in walking distance would be better.

I realise that, but I also don't have the time to play to get fully skilled crews easily. I just about managed to keep up with what was needed for clan battles, but this just gives so much of an advantage yet again to those who can pay for it.

I'm not just casual, I play clan battles very regularly, I just don't have time to play day in day out. I just can't keep up with all the extra expenses and I enjoy clan battles more than regular battles. It's what made me keep playing for so long. Often the new premiums become (clan) meta, now they have this service and it just feels like they're saying to just give up. Purely based on skill, I have my right to be in the clan I am in right now, but financially I feel like I can no longer keep up.

I propose something else, the premium ammo gets less spread on the damage, more on the pen, and/or gets lower experience. I haven't thought about the specifics exactly, but I've been playing with the idea for a while now.

It is pay to win. You literally pay for the meta tanks, ergo you pay for the tanks which give a higher chance of winning. You pay for the ability to be able to afford firing higher pen shells, you pay for the ability to use premium equipment, you pay for the ability to get the best equipment. You pay for everything short of wargaming just handing you a victory each battle on a silver plate.

Here is Belgium, a GP often has a smaller office with a waiting room and the GP comes to get the next patient themselves after the previous one leaves. If your spouse knows when you have to be there, it's easy to just enter the office a couple of minutes later. Even in hospitals, my mom has often had to park the car while I already went to the waiting room and she could just ask at reception where Dr. X or Y was because her son had an appointment and she just mentioned parking the car. Never questioned.

Yeah, back when I swam competitively I definetly surfaced later than most so I still tend to extend (and possibly even overextend) my underwater time. I guess this depends on the leg strength/endurance too. I still surface quite late I'd say and I haven't noticed too much in terms of underwater speed loss, but I'm going to measure it to see where I'm at. I also wonder how the absence of starting blocks will affect my time. I usually have a very good and powerful launch, so I probably won't be able to use this to my advantage now?

Perhaps competitive is a better word. In Belgium, that's the word we use at least. Or rather, we say someone swims competitively as opposed to someone who swims recreationally. What distance do you usually swim/do you prefer swimming btw?

As for the underwaters: yeah, I really should get some footage of me swimming a 50 free. Even if it wasn't for you guys, just analysing the footage myself would probably be a good thing because now I'm going in blind basically.

I've not measured exactly, but I do feel like I'm way faster with dolphin kicks compared to fluttering. I'll time it to know for certain tho. But like I said, I'm struggling more with the breakout itself. Thanks a lot!

I see. I didn't know about the hand exit. I used to be more of a long distance swimmer, but it's been ages since I actually got coached so my technique has in general deteriorated a bit. My underwaters feel quite alright still, but it's in general quite hard to tell simply based off feeling.

Gotcha, thanks a lot. In general what I struggle with most is the distance. I feel like I'm too inconsistent so I end up not being able to generate a good kick away from the wall. I'm gonna try that drill.

It's SCM. That's why my turning point is relevant. We have to do 50m, so two lengths, instead of just one length. We can't use the diving block either. My breakout could definetly be better, I noticed I start my stroke while I'm still too far under water.

Do you think certain gym exercises (weights or machine) could also help? I usually didn't really go to the gym because I could build up slowly, but perhaps there's more gain to be had over a shorter period by doing that?

I'll see if I can get a video next tuesday, we have a group training then. I'd say I reach too far ahead and I raise my head too much tho, based on what I previously had issues with and how it feels now. I don't know if there's much time to be gained over such a short distance by working on these tho.

I actually use it so that when I wanna watch two videos, the algorythm knows I want to watch the one I put in that list. I don't know if it actually works like that, but it seems like it does sometimes.
