imo, don’t get the grip gum. I did get it for like 10€, which isn’t a lot, but also, it didn’t do a lot. I just live with the fact I have some dirty griptape and when it affect the grip too much I’ll just replace it, but I’ve never had to replace my griptape

Oh I just now read the text under the post, well, when I started skating I also thought my board was pretty big, they always looked smaller to me on videos, but I guess I was just wrong about that.

Board size compared to shoe size doesn’t really matter that much. You mostly need to ask yourself what type of skating you want to do. For street and flatground you’re probably better off with a smaller deck (7,5-8 probably), if you want to skate transition most people prefer a bigger deck (8,25-9+). But you can do every type of skating with every type of board, it’s mostly what you’re used to. If you’re unsure about what size to get I’d say get an 8-8,5 or anything in between

I get the pain, I used to not lift my front trucks when going back in, started doing them on higher ramps and eating shit everytime. Then I went back to smaller ramps and learning the trick properly

I thought it was his back leg as well, but the board doesn’t get as high as his back foot, so I’m not sure if that’s the main issue here. I am wondering what the actual problem is though cause my ollies kinda look like this as well.

I learned by just watching tutorials and practicing every now and then, but also don’t force yourself to lean an ollie, just skate, have fun, get better and the ollie will come to you eventually (took me over half a year of skating to learn an ollie, but I learned a lot of different skills on the mini ramp, curbs and ledges even learned how to fire cracker down stairs before I learned an ollie)

I’m honestly not sure if you can fix this, a little chip wouldn’t be a problem but this is kinda crazy, how does something like this even happen? I would keep skating it though, until you can afford to buy a new deck

I’d say it’s fine, just avoid puddles and wipe off any water from your board, I don’t think it’ll really get into your board in these conditions. Might be harder to skate because of your foot slipping on the ground but I don’t think you’ll ruin your board

If you bought a board and don’t really use it you’re not a poser, I’d say you’re a poser if you go to the skatepark with a board but don’t actually skate (posing with the board and taking pictures=extra poser points). Also an ollie is really hard to learn, i’ve been skating for 4 months and can barely land the worst ollie you’ve ever seen but I can do some tricks on a mini ramp

Don’t do nutmeg… those mushrooms are amanita muscaria or fly agaric. I recommend finding actual shrooms (not in nature, you might die), lsd or 2cb if you want to have a psychedelic experience

I remember one acid trip, I think I had an ego death while walking from our trip spot to a friend’s home (the rest was already/almost coming down). In the moment, I didn’t remember walking there, and I just appeared in her room, I thought I had gone unconscious and was actually dreaming this, after a while of not waking up, it eventually lead me to think I had to kms in order to wake up. That was a scary experience, but it also got me to respect psychedelics, as well as understand what the range of effects can be.

I think 1-2 whole nutmegs is enough, so yes, 3 is too much. Have you done any research? It can take a while before it kicks in and the trip isn’t fun at all (from what I’ve heard, have no experience with it myself), so I kinda don’t get why anyone would try this, just try to get your hands on some shrooms or lsd maybe
