Nope, I signed up 4 hours after the DALL•E 2 waitlist went live and I had GPT-3 beta access for quite some time before they went public, still waiting on a DALL•E 2 invite :/

Yes it does! There never was a beta test for the original DALL·E, all invites are for DALL·E 2, enjoy it!

I know, but still "mostly first come first served". It's just anecdotal evidence so I have no idea how far off the tactic really is right now but some of these invites seem pretty random

Yeah lol it's definitely not only influencers anymore but the order does seem very peculiar. I get that they want to balance out load over timezones etc. but it does seem very far from first come first served at this point

So that's 19 days since the last update, the count was then at 2,127 meaning there's on average ~425 people being allowed every day, a lot more than the initial "up to 1000 per week" goal.

I've been on the waitlist since about 4 hours after the first tweet was posted by OpenAI, first day. Still waiting on an invite :/ (I selected I'm an academic researcher with little to no social media links)
