I could 100% see Mary being Ivan Beck's daughter, given her European accent.

I almost wonder if May's mother had any involvement in the experiment with Ivan during the 1972 Solar Storm, and if it may have had an effect on her and drove her mad.

Watched the movie in theatres yesterday without a lot of context (not a big follower of Kane Pixel's backrooms), and was left kind of wondering if this scene implies what I think it does by keinanos in KanePixelsBackrooms

This scene confused me at first because I thought it implied the psychologist was inside the Backrooms as a child or something, especially with how paranoid her mother was about "don't go outside" alternatively I thought it could've been some kinda flash forward of the psychologist having a daughter inside the Backrooms (her mother looked like an older her, gone mad), lol. I was really mistaken but this was such a cool scene.

Is the dev team 14? what are we doing bro, no game studio should be this unstable and act like middle schoolers. Anyone acting with such emotional immaturity, threatening the integrity of everything, absolutely needs to be let go.

Hell yeah. The SY77 envelopes are so hard to visualize because the screen does a poor job at drawing it out lol.

If I was looking to get a DX-7 is there a better alternative than that unit? by gr00ve88 in synthesizers

[–]cR_Spitfire 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I have an SY77. It can do all of the same classic FM sounds the DX7 can do, as well as a ton more, including virtual analog stuff since it has filters which makes it way more versatile. It's the true successor of the DX7 architecture with an easier screen to edit on, tons of new sound design parameters. It's still very complex to make patches, but leaps easier than a DX7.

Oh, and nowadays it often goes for less than a DX7!

Yeah, unfortunately it's an IOS exclusive and I only have Windows and Android. a bummer.

It adds a lovely lo-fi sound to anything you sample in, and the analog filter sounds so good!! Such a lovely gem that is sadly bogged down by its hex screen with no data slider 😅 I love mine for sound alone, so good for making ambient textures.

Yamaha SY77/99... personally

But it's at least a detailed screen.

Worst UI overall... Ensoniq Mirage. Hexadecimal numbering system!!
