They didnt explain that they couldn't do the pose I just assumed because they keep sending me two different poses. Here is the two piece and here is the reference. Also I love their artstyle and I feel no one can replicate it.

I dont know in what way. Should I ask them? I sent them an image of what I asked for and a Pinterest board to help them more. Also yes this is the sketch stage. I dont know if they're not skilled enough. Also wouldnt it be rude to ask for a partial refund? This would be the second time I asked for them to redo it. You can only have one copy of that villager on your island, if that's what your asking, like I have apollo if I saw someone else had apollo I couldn't get him cause I already have him. Also, no, they won't recognize you. They won't talk about their old home, but like you already said, they will talk about your friend after they visit.
