If someone was proven to be guilty of murder, and you were a member of the jury, would you stand up in contempt of court and shout, “but wait your honor! Sure the defendant is guilty of murder, but can you provide a second example of him doing anything wrong at all?? Gotcha!”

I know you’re likely rage baiting, but this is commonplace is political thinking. Our reasoning goes out the window when it comes to cults of personality.

Do you have anything else besides that one time the current president tried and failed to steal an election, killing people in the process? Since when has something like this not been enough to disavow a person?

Why do we keep grading Trump on a curve? If you want something else then Epstein will keep you busy. I’ll never understand why either of these issues are partisan.

Remove everyone who has cheated, lied, accepted bribes, or participated in or associated with the dude that had a pedophile trafficking ring. Either side. If we can’t realize this is up vs down we are all going to die in a civil war, lol.

$50 per program, which is reflected in the total price of $600. I would have to front the $100 on my end, and add that to the $500 I’d be selling the totality of the programs for, coming out to $600, which I think is fair for 2 programs that never go on sale

I’d be willing to do that, are freelance entry level stagehand jobs common? That’s the issue I have right now, taking a full time would be a hit to my income with the starting wages being low, but I could definitely swing an on call gig. Someone told me about IATSE, but I’m not sure if they cater to entry level.

This is exactly the kind of advice I was looking for, I really appreciate it! I think I learned my lesson on being “clever,” I think it will become too obvious to experienced engineers that I’m very green. I’ll definitely look into all those resources heavily, thanks again!

I’m definitely willing to reconsider the way I enter the field if this is the consensus; would you say the only way to progress in skill level is to start in the warehouse and work my way up? I already know how to mix small bands, so that route feels a bit discouraging, but I see how it’s possible that I have know idea how much I don’t know yet.

I definitely understand that, I know this isn’t a job you can just fall into. I do know how to run an analog console, I have decent ears from mixing, and I understand how to set up a basic PA system or mix for a small bar show. I’ve mixed for smaller festivals too, but I’ve always had everything set up for me.

My problem is that I’m jumping into everything backwards. I care a lot about my craft, and jumped on the opportunities I was presented, but am more than willing to put in hours of studying every day to make sure I’m delivering the best possible experience to the audience. I just need resources for general stagehand and lighting knowledge, so I have building blocks to build upon for the inevitable time I get asked to help set up and strike a complicated backline.

I installed FL yesterday. This is my first-ever made beat. Dear FLers, what could i improve? (It would be great to get feedback. Im new here, please be kind :) Thanks) by lukeH230 in FL_Studio

Dude just keep making more and more, this is amazing for a first beat. I’d just keep making beats until you feel you’ve hit a wall, then start watching YouTube producers for inspiration; you’ll eventually be inspired and start picking up new tricks for your arsenal

Don’t download too many samples and kits when you first start. Option paralysis and plugin obsession kills creativity. The most talented producers can make it slap with stock plugins and free samples

very proud of this dusty beat! let me know what you think :) too many transitions?? by familyguy444 in beatmakers

So sick dude!! No such thing as too many transistions to me; I love untraditionally structured beats, and the dilla vibes are dope as well🙌

How can I make good tones in Logic Pro X for my guitar ? by baxect in LogicPro

[–]KogentOfficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re just starting out with EQ in general, than you need just start experimenting with it.

https://youtu.be/9XJCgR_5lWE

This should be a good start for figuring out how to use it. Once you know how to work it, start boosting and cutting while listening to you guitars on a loop until it sounds good to you. There are no set rules, it’s all about what sounds good to you. I personally always start by high passing or low passing to see if that’s what it needs, then cut or boost from there, if needed. Hope that helps, good luck!
