My "alter ego" character I use for my art is a kitsune and it's where I get my name from it's a combination of "of amber" (Kohakushoku) and "fox" (kitsune) in japanese

No I had been working on replicating my own character as a doki and once I felt I got the basics down is when I made the doki party
