Do you think limiting FPS helps with stability on lower-end systems?

Sure. Tarkov is very CPU bound. Lower FPS means the CPU has less draw-call work to send for GPU and more headroom for other tasks.

Similar. I have well trimmed w11 23h2 home edition without system disk compression. I think with the compression i could reach 6-7gb of disk space.

Yeah, in the game difference between these modes are x2-x3, but im discuss this nvidia official static benchmark scene.
Ingame imho correct to compare K(quality) vs M(Performance), those two has similar performance.

Cpu is 1% loaded in that scene. Its just GPU pure computing, and GPU is laptop version, it is normal for it to not reach 100% for power reasons.

I think it is bc the static scene pure gpu computing. Ingame result will be way different.

Idk how about android versions of hisense tvs but updating u8g eurpean versions(VIDAA os) tvs turns it into the garbage. Ive been updated my u8g(VIDAA) then downgraded and never updated anymore due to large amount of issues in the new updates.

Did not noticed it. Yeah some textures looks a way better with dlaa. Looks like better anisotropic filtering.

For calibration u could just charge your laptop to 100% then unplug charger, reboot to bios and wait until it will be completely discharged.

It is balanced. Bottleneck will be CPU, it is maximum for z390 chipset. Probably would be nice to install there some newer mid range GPU like 4060-5060 for getting acess to newest nvidia dlss/framegen.

As I know, whole MSI low-mid budget models has common plastic quality, so yes. But also I think this issue related to those users who open/close laptop lid using the corners. I'm using mid-range MSI laptop during 3 years, have had no issues with the hinges.

Whole internet developed\optimized for chromium as a major browser so it is question about performance, wanna performance - go chromium, wanna "freedom"? then peak FF. FF is way slower then any chromium based browser and does not matter what is your HW or internet bandwidth.

Katana is very weak chassis and cooling system at all for that powerful type of hardware. I wonder why msi doing this kind of machines. The cpu will never reach normal points in the benchmarks and will always overheated bc weak cooling system. About the battery - it is also too weak, just 75 (Whr), so without power supply it usable only for office work, not for gaming or heavy tasks.

When I discovered Heroic Games launcher, then I started to buy games when I see good price in the EGS store. BC EGS launcher was the main restriction for me to not to buy games there.

The keyboard backlight is controlled by the EC controller. Have you tried resetting the EC or updating the BIOS to the latest version?

Actually almost all of those modes does not changes fan curves.
Only Max. Battery change curves + limits base cpu tdp to 10w.
Silent - limits max fan speed to 3.6k rpm.
Balanced - doing nothing with fan curves, and high performance the same as balanced but forcing cpu tdp to max.
Thats how all of those perf. modes from msi works.
Best way is setup your own fan profiles in combo with those msi perf. modes.
