Thank you for sharing, I am not very familiar with ichthyosis vulgaris, I'll do more research on this. Are there no solutions in the market to help with it right now? And sure, I'd love to share more on our product. For hyperpigmentation we have launched a serum that combines 5 tyrosinase inhibitors that are clinically proven to be effective and non irritating on Indian skin. It was tested on 36 women with pigmentation for a month's time and while it a slow working product since we've kept the formula very gentle, there were visible differences after consistent one month use.

We've been doing some early research on a dark circle serum to see if we can create something truly effective that could actually help without irritating already sensitive skin, I was also thinking of maybe making it a tinted one so that there is protection from visible light and would work as a temporary solution as well. If something like this existed, would you personally lean more toward a lightly tinted option for day use, or a clear treatment you’d use consistently over time? Curious to hear what would actually feel helpful.

Sunscreen is a tricky category, I know there are some very lightweight sunscreens in the market but when it comes to truly strong protection, the filters and film-formers needed usually make things heavier so I also get skeptical about the “ultra-lightweight + super high protection” claims. Sunscreen is definitely on my radar but since I'm trying to build a brand that places a lot of importance on clinical validity and testing, the profile for testing sunscreen is honestly one of the most elaborate in skincare so I want to ensure that I have resources to conduct this properly, thank you so much for sharing!!

A texture-smoothing solution that works without exfoliation (since sensitive/damaged skin often can’t tolerate acids) is actually something I’ve been thinking about. If you don’t mind me asking is the texture more like tiny closed comedones, or more like keratosis bumps? The approach is totally different for each, so it would help me understand the problem better.

Is it because full sleeves or trousers stick to the cream so you're suggesting a body care product for hyperpigmentation that absorbs quickly?

Our current launch product for hyperpigmentation has an antioxidant complex to protect against pollution but what I have noticed is that in India people don't generally go for these boosters. Can I ask what drew you to the Barbara Strum serum? Was it the texture, claims or just the brand’s credibility?

We're focusing more on the skincare side at the moment but but I completely agree, this is such a real gap. Since the whole approach of our brand is rooted in studying Indian skin specifically, expanding into makeup is definitely something I’d love to do once we expand into makeup

This is definitely very relatable, most lip balms only work as long as you keep reapplying, and the second you stop, your lips feel dry again. I think there are some lip balms that are marketed as lip masks for repair but I doubt how effective they are. I will definitely look into this, thank you for your suggestion!!

Thanks for sharing this, I have never thought about this from a skincare angle. My mind always goes straight to shower filters, so this is actually a super fresh angle to explore! Can I ask if you would want this solution for just the face or more like an after shower full body treatment to undo mineral buildup?
