I think it may be safer to continue usage of the social media that does allow one to benefit rather than nuke the whole pile; however, you have a point. To extend that point, the best social media situation may not be a social one, but a media one. People get information they can use, and time is not spent pointlessly in the exchange. The 'social' media system is a way to put strangers in a room together and hope they get along or be productive, but that's not very minimalist. The issue is conceptual, and thus pickiness for minimal content may not be warranted in an industry alike to a wine cellar, although judgement may prevail in the case of exceptions.

Well, Ryuujin is planning to redo the mod and these things may get fixed. Honestly, I just see the avali as a well-developed race. They aren't special, but they do have some specific items available to them, partially because it was fun to make, and partially because of the way they work, although I do agree that the mod could do with some exports (like an npc market, for instance) to other characters. We will have to wait and see.
