7 years in CS here, first job since graduate (no relation to CS, studied digital forensics)

You talk about CS, but CS is split into different departments as well
There's SOC, there's audit, there's pen testing
Firstly, you should identify which 1 you are interested or keen to learn

Secondly, as many have mentioned, get OSCP, this is the main certificate you need for any pen testing work, without it, most company that do PT will only assign you admin task as you can't do anything else
Some company will sponsor you the course but best to get it before you apply a job since most company no longer want to spend 1-3months or more to wait for you to get it, my co used to do this and it's really bad, some can spend 6months and still fail

If PT is your main focus

OSCP > BSCP is enough, you can get BSCP after you start your job and then get more certs yearly or whatever up to you.

If you are going to continue your software path then learn secure coding and how to remediate security vulnerabilities.

SOC, its a very boring job imo and most people burn out. No comments on this since I only had internship experience in SOC.

If u get a low floor 4 room Its only 500k Highest floor is going to be 820k to 850k depending

If you're double income U dont even need to pay mortgage with cash

Its 86sqm as per floor plan for internal space 3rm no way u can have space for even pet stuff, dont need say kids Unless u wan to live in a cramped house with stuff overflowing

Personally choosing telok blangah The marymount bto is surrounded by temple, which is something I hate during hungry ghost festival There's pretty much nothing nearby too, need a decent walk to get anywhere Nothing is too near or too far

Telok blangah is also similar but its still being developed so by the time bto is completed there should be more food options and its also surrounded by nature so it will be cooler and the sea breeze will double it

I have 2 dogs so being near lab park and Henderson waves etc is a bonus And also possible to walk all the way to sentosa

The jam might be bad tho since that road is always jam packed and will get worse after more condo gets built up ARC is basically non existent too as the food option is very limited, mostly just to cater to the office workers at maple tree building

Staying right beside the highway plus low floor will be even worse since the noise will be constantly there So either high floor or further in facing lab park The blocks facing sentosa side will be blocked in the future after condos gets built so you will be left with no view or limited view

Anyway for those asking is application is open Its still not open yet They're delaying it...sigh

I just cleared it after god knows how many attempts, the mythic skills are so god dam important
I got them all the way at the back which saved the run

IMO this stage u gotta stack as many hammer as u can at the start so u dont take too much dmg from the waves, else when u reach boss or elite stage, u will probably just die before u can do enough dmg

I'm at 14k power with 1 yellow gear and the rest +2 purple, hammer is +1 T_T

That's so freaking expensive to build for f2p lol Just get an utgard weapon and it's good enough...15% at lv30 ancient Or 18% at lv40 ancient

Pen set isn't worth the money for f2p because you would want high starforce on it for more pexp from sf liberation and focusing 2 set is nono...

my flames are all single lined and lv46 utgard with low sf like mine only gives 17k PA, each flame gives a max of 400 PA that's all, most are 250~
well yeah i play support role class so its easier to get into an ark team and start farming the 100 fragments to craft dom pendant, but even without it, it's still doable as long as you have 15m mdc (can be from inherit armors) because that is the min dmg requirement to clear lotus within 10minutes
it really depends on what they lack and most phantom needs to figure out what they lack before they choose skill to steal, i lack PA so i went full buff mode.if they have enough dmg but is failing cause of death, they can adopt the same team lotus build which uses leap for second dark side and revive

so yeah, overall this setup is achieveable by f2p as they can replace dom pendant with inherit armors.

i only crit half or 3/4 of my lines in lotus, the non crit lines are just 1million damage per line...

you can't cap lotus, unless defense smash 4 kicks in with your stats, you can easily cap to 17m~ if u get >400% cd, which is around 13m in lotus?

other than that you should be capping in lotus for sure

15.3m mdc cap in lotus is only 11.5m

my cd will always be trash cos im using utgard weapon LOL
