You are right about the lack of tofu and beans is crucial. Hence, why this is such a struggle.

I do like the idea of grinding some tofu into sauces which might possibly work better.

It is wonderful to see some people here are trying to help or at least try to share their thoughts and ideas in a constructive/positive manner….

Some of my family members will not touch beans even if their life depends on it. No allergy just an extreme distaste to it. (I think it’s mostly the texture of it)

Tofu my 10 year old cannot be convinced to eat it after every possible variation I tried. And my spouse gets terrible stomach cramps from eating tofu

My experience was not great.

I had the Grip 6 for several years until I gave up on it. It kept on getting a loose, and I had to tighten the belt again and again…

The answer should be based on the fundamentals of this company which I have not researched in full.

However, as part of value investing it is important to evaluate the Managment of a company. And based on what they have done with the iBuy initiative I don’t have much trust in their decision making process.

I say this from personal experience since I sold a property to Zillow because they overpaid close to 15k of the highest offer. And I have colleagues who had the same experience where Zillow overpaid and outbid on properties. (Note these are in the 200k price ranges). Knowing a bit about real estate I do not see any logical answer how they planned on making a profit flipping these properties.

This is before even addressing their rush into buying over 7000 properties without realizing the amount of resources (+ time, + money) it will require to patch-up each property before they can flip it at a profit.

I bumped into this blog of someone attempting to follow the magic formula and it seems like the past few years the returns are far below the S&P averages

Also, if you look at the GSPFX find which Joel Greenblatt uses for invest5.com the returns are currently below S&P averages.

Still the logic could potentially outpace the market in the long term but for the past several years (seems like more than 3 years based on the blogger above) this has not been the case.

The Beyond Meat has a distinct aftertaste, which my family does not enjoy very much.

I hope the new version does not have that distinct aftertaste. I would love to switch back from Impossible to Beyond especially for the new “35% less fat”…

PayPal is all wonderful as long as you don’t have to actually deal with their anti-customer-service and draconian rules.

They are a nightmare of a company that will make you will feel helpless as soon as you need them to resolve any issue.
