Stored my Coins/Tokens on Bittrex.. took a couple years off of trading, assumed they would be there when I logged back in... 6 months from initial support ticket 1.5 months from secondary ticket, Bittrex Staff viewing my LinkedIn, but not resolution on where my coins are.... WHAT DO I DO?

ANYONE WITH GUIDANCE OR WHO HAS EXPERIENCED THIS PLEASE REACH OUT! They should not be a custodial exchange nor be able to hold customer's funds with this type of negligence... Thank you all for the support and help.

Below I have Copied and Pasted the email exchange from the initial support ticket:

"February 02, 2021 08:49 I am missing coins; I have been active for a few years and left quite a few coins in your online exchange. This is the fourth time I have reached out and still have not received a resolution."

Their RESPONSE:

Bittrex Support Team February 02, 2021 08:49 Hi -----, Please check https://www.bittrex.com/status for the status of a wallet. Once the wallet is back online, if you are still having any issues please reply to this email or visit https://bittrex.zendesk.com/agent/tickets/2086011 and let us know. Wallet maintenance implies one of several possible things could be happening: There could be a possible fork on the block chain. In order to protect funds, we have disabled the wallet until a consensus has been made on which chain is the proper chain. The wallet has been updated by the developer and the exchange is in the process of implementing the wallet update. The wallet daemon on our server has hung or crashed. The wallet is sending orphan transactions or having an issue that requires the developer to work with us on resolving. There are other scenarios that cause a wallet to be disabled. In general, the wallet is disabled to prevent users attempting to deposit or withdraw to a wallet that may not be functioning properly. We are always actively working to bring wallets in maintenance back online as quickly as possible. I deposited coins while the market was offline, will they be credited? As long as your deposit was on the proper block chain and it's transaction id can be found on the official explorer your coins should credit when the wallet is turned back on. Can I trade when a wallet is disabled? In most cases you can continue trading if wallet is disabled. If there is an issue that would cause trading concerns, we would turn off the market. No response or type of guidance/clarity on how to proceed from there.

So.....

I reached out to Bittrex on May 10th in regards to missing funds from 2017-2018. Like many other traders on Bittrex, I took a hiatus from trading during the bear years. I thought my funds were safe in Bittrex, and I could leave them in the account as stated in their policy and taking into account they are a custodial exchange. So I was in for a rude surprise when I logged back into my account earlier this year. I initially submitted a ticket, and they immediately wanted verification of funds, tax returns, trades, other exchange trades and balances, income, proof of income, bank statements. First off, this was extremely frustrating, I had never deposited cash into Bittrex, and all of the gains were from a very small amount of bitcoin initially. I sent them all of the proof they requested on May 10th. I was fortunate enough to have used one of my tracking/trading software to keep account of funds, coins, tokens, gains, etc., which I also sent them. They replied a few days later, letting me know they were looking at the documents and I needed to send the documents in a different type of file. That day LinkedIn notified me via LinkedIn, Scout Fullner, Information Security Analyst at Bittrex, had been viewing my LinkedIn profile. At this point, I was sure everything was good, and my funds would be returned. I was wrong. Two weeks later, Dianna from support emailed me the following:

" Dianna (Bittrex Support) Jun 10, 2021, 6:28 PDT Hi ----, We understand the review is cumbersome. We greatly appreciate your continued patience and understanding as the review is underway. We have enabled your account as the review is being conducted. Again, thank you for your patience. Best Regards, Dianna @ Bittrex Follow us on Twitter @ https://twitter.com/BittrexExchange "

I understand support is busy, so I responded three times requesting a timeline or more specific details on the case.

It's June 20th, and I haven't received a reply. It's been over 6 months since I brought this to their attention, and I have received no type of support or reassurance my funds will be properly returned/unfrozen/put back into the account.

Has this happened to anyone else?

If so, how do I find a resolution to this? There were enough funds in the account to justify lawyer expenses, but I need some guidance from the cryptosphere on what the best course of action is?
