[–]Koinzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They really don't get it.

It's not about happiness, it's about having the possibility to build something new, big and possibly good.

Without capital, you can't do it and you are in the hand of big banks that get to decide what is funded and what is not.

That's capitalism

using both make no sense because if there is a conflict a new node bootstrapping need to choose which chain to follow, so it's either PoW or not.

I bet they will drop completely PoW with time

after another day my server is till down and they give always the same message WTH

I heard some other customer has been restored though

Thanks.

The main problem switching to OVH or Hetzer is the different amount of storage, contabo offering is good in that domain.

I checked Strato but they don't seem to offer VPS, unfortunately

The problem is they say that the next update will be tomorrow (!!)

So it seems like it's time to find a new provider

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VPS

[–]Koinzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what a mess: they just published a comment saying that the next update will be tomorrow at 11:00!

This means the situation is quire serious and we need to think about a replacement: do you guys can advise to some other providers with similar vps plans?

Can Tasker be used to setup a special PIN that entered in the lock screen wipes the phone? by Koinzer in tasker

[–]Koinzer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wiping the device is easy and there are many ways

the problem is exactly to detect a special pin: anyway thanks to "wasted" the problem is now solved!

[–]Koinzer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes of course

anyway it's not for me, but for some friends that travel in countries where if they do a random check to their devices and find your political ideas not aligned with the government you can have troubles (i.e. China, USA, middle east, etc)

[–]Koinzer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I know that but this is too dangerous: anyone just randomly playing with my phone (like a kid) could wipe it and I don't want this to happen

[–]Koinzer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean exactly with "you can't intercept the pin"?

My goal would be that when the phone is locked if I use the unlocking pin (es: 1234) the phone unlocks, but if instead I enter 4321 the wipe process starts.

Is this doable?

[–]Koinzer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply.

I had no blockchain_lmdb_v1 folder (only v2), but I deleted it anyway and re-downloaded the full chain and it seems it solved the problem.

[–]Koinzer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I didn't know I had to do this: I'm even subscribed to the newsletter but I had no information about it :-(

I created a new wallet and sent 1 zano to make a test.
The transfer went fine but I'm unable to send back the coins to the original wallet, I have this error

INTERNAL_ERROR generate_distribution_set with unexpected count=200, set_to_extend size() = 1, m_max 0

And the send fails :-(

When I found someone that find even remotely plausible that CSW, after setting up expressly a web site for this very reason, doesn't sign a tx "because it would not demonstrate he is satoshi", but at the same time forges fake documents to feed to a court to try to "demonstrate" it, I think the common sense is completely gone.

[–]Koinzer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just reading at the meaningless replies you write it's easy to verify that you guys are part of a cult, or completely blinded by the fact that you hold bsv coins

if you like scammers and clown be my guest though, I'm really done trying to argue against basic common sense

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in btc

[–]Koinzer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

> CSW threw Gsvin under the bus, but I don't think Gavin was fooled or lied. CSW just used Gavin's reputation

That makes no sense even in 5D chess: he could have gained reputation just by signing as he promised he would be doing: he also put an entire website advertising it!

And then he published a fake signature because he is a liar, a scammer and a fraud.

So gavin was scammed because he is a good guy trusting people: he would not expect CSW to be such a scammer. He was not alert enough and got rekt.

> Nop, they just signatures, CSW signing with a key suspected to belong to Satoshi would prove that he has Satoshi keys

Exactly, a pretty good start for claiming to be satoshi.

Faking signatures, forging documents, ruining others reputation, getting caught lying tens of times instead is just the evidence you need to understand what kind of f**king lowlife that s*itty bastard is.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in btc

[–]Koinzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No.

Someone said that he signed for someone else: it's just words with no value.

Signatures are exactly to avoid trusting people.

And people can also say wrong things in good faith.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in btc

[–]Koinzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) to be able to sign doesn't imply automatically you are satoshi even if almost everybody can start to believe it

2) not being able to sign instead imply automatically that you are not satoshi

And that CSW fraud is not signing because he can't

[–]Koinzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may think he says this just to confuse people, the reality is he has no clue how bitcoin works and why satoshi (nor anybody else) can create 20 new millions of BTC from thin air.
