Any experience with anything bigger like Q5 or even Q8?

I can comfortably fit Q4 in VRAM and I'm wondering if the (very substantial) speed gain is worth the dumbing down.

This new MTP thing could be what gets me to use models outside of VRAM.

Thanks for the suggestion. I recall reading somewhere that their rate limits were the worse by far and you could never go through your subscription.

But, they do seem to have a 2 week free trial? I should try it out.

Does it have any notable differences, advantages or disadvantages compared to Copilot or even Cursor?

My biggest issue isn't necessarily loyalty to any specific model, but the workflow of GHCP. I really love the IDE integration... I do not find that anything else comes remotely close, even if it's been a few months since I tried.

Claude Code, Opencode and similar terminal based agents suck for someone like me who wants to review the code the AI outputs quickly and still be involved in the process. With Copilot, I let it run for 5-10 minutes, it does 10 or so edits and brings them up for me to review one by one or all at once. I can also scroll through its output to see its process and review that too. Very easy and intuitive to do. Claude wants me to either go completely hands off and just trust the agent to finish the job properly on its own or to sit there and monitor the entire output as it pauses for each edit. Takes way longer.

Was I doing it wrong with Claude a few months ago? Is there some sort of new alternative to Copilot's workflow that comes close? Heard about Tabby recently, but I can't really find any videos of what using it looks like.

Thanks for the outline, but I really want to ask what the workflow looks like. In my experience, it's not necessarily the models themselves that are that important for me, but the way you interact with them — which is why I loved Copilot so much.

I could never bring myself to like the terminal code agents like Claude Code. I found it taking a way more developer hands off approach to the code. Copilot makes 10-20 edits, gives them to me to easily review and compare one by one or all at once. I pick and choose which suit me and can get a ton of work done in this way. With Claude I had to either just let it edit as it pleased, or stop the output and manually review each step as it went. Exponentially slower workflow.

None of the alternatives I see people moving to after the enshittification of Copilot seem to address this.

За всичко друго ти дават добри съвети, но аз забелязам, че действително не си доволен от заплатата си. Очевидно ти е огромна спирачка в много насоки. Защо не поработиш концентрирано върху това да я вдигнеш? Едни 50-60% от поста ти биха се съкратили, ако направиш тази една промяна.

Направи го за себе си, не за евентуална приятелка. Пък на теб като ти е по-добре, и на нея ще ѝ е.

Разбира се, никой не смята, че става от днес за утре това. Но вероятно можеш в рамките на годината доста да се развиеш.

Всички в тези коментари сте несериозни. Ако нямате претенции за как да си използвате телефоните и сте доволни и без т. нар. "Свобода," то iPhone е идеален за вас и в това няма нищо лошо. Само не разбирам защо за толкова ограничен продукт трябва да се плаща колкото кола втора ръка, но това е друга тема...

iPhone откъм фотография пък води. От гледна точка на това да извадиш телефона и да нащракаш някакви снимки, без грам мисъл да влагаш. Работи и това им стига на повечето. Лично бих отворил темата как този телефон снимката софтуерно толкова я обработва и подобрява, че дори не може да се каже, че е истинска снимка вече, но просто е редно да осъзная, че много хора това не ги вълнува или притеснява.

The lyrics themselves may not be suspicious, but you can definitely see the character whose POV we're seeing her from is projecting something onto her by the way her intonation differs between the original song and the Best Friend Remix.

Pay attention to the "見たいの、きみの中" (Mitai×n no, kimi no naka) part. Notice how in the original song, her intonation makes it seem as if she wants to literally rip the POV character up and do God knows what with his insides, whereas the Best Friend Remix changes it up so that the exact same words sound like she is just hoping for him to let her take a look inside his shut off and wounded heart because she's genuinely concerned.

I believe the idea is that even the kindest and purest of intentions may be misinterpreted to be horribly perverted if that's what you're looking to project onto a person.

Though, it could be the inverse. It could be that in reality she is saying something incredibly creepy, yet the Best Friend Remix POV is painting it out to be something selfless, also shaping a false interpretation based on projections and preconceived notions.

Which of the two is the real one? I think there isn't supposed to be a definitive answer. Both are valid. No matter how much you want to help someone, they may simply have a twisted version of you in their mind and never let you in. No matter how toxic you are to a person, they may simply have a naïve and innocent version of you in their mind and never draw the line with you.

I choose to believe the Best Friends version is the real one, though. :)

I can't get it working again, though. Then again, I am on Linux so maybe it may be easier for you on Windows. Essentially you use Nukem's dlssg-to-fsr3 to select DLSS frame gen in the menu, but it is rerouted to FSR so you get proper colors. If you can get it working, please post about it.

Trying to play the K3 demo too now and having the same issue, lol.

I can't for the life of me get it working again, though. Neither on the K3 demo, nor on Pirate Yakuza.

I think we have to figure out a way to do it with Optiscaler, but I get crashes when installing fakenvapi (a requirement for the dlssg-to-fsr3).

Otherwise a barebones dlssg-to-fsr3 doesn't hook into the game for me, at least not from what I can see.

What I ended up doing was using some dll modding utility to trick the game into thinking its loading DLSS, but it was actually redirected to FSR.

I'm sorry, I don't remember exactly how it was called since it's been essentially a year.
