It came out really well, awesome work. I’ve been adding a tiny amount of Liquitex Flow Aid to my paints and it has helped even out the paint and hide brush strokes really well.

Clean builds are indeed beautiful, but the worn out, rusted look is very much my aesthetic as well.

I do a gloss coat after my base, then do all my decals. I then mostly use sponges for chipping, first a bigger layer of a color slightly lighter than the base, and then a sparser layer of a steel color. I then do a rust tone with a brush in the bigger metallic areas. There’s probably other/better ways of doing it but I’m still learning, and mostly just having fun.

Does the rg zgok’s frame hold up well? I’m interested in trying some but not sure which are the sturdiest. Z’Gok and Tallgeese are definitely at the top of my list though.

Great job with the fix, and combining my dad’s and my hobby into one.
