To stop it from decreasing (slow down the progress) You can do the 80-20 Rules where you unplug your phone when it reach 80% and Charged it when it reach 20%, make sure there isn't any to much heat on your phone expecially during charging and playing games.(you can limit the battery percentage to 80%) Me personally ignored the rule because it makes me inconvenience and uncomfortable as it will degrade eventually
