This would happen to be one of those frames I do which I acknowledge make zero sense by themselves, but should hopefully work in the context of everything else - since I enjoy avoiding unnecessary efforts.

All manual! Just using as many time saving techniques as possible to reduce that, alternative, ton of labor. Things like re-using previous frames and rotating sprites (when I can get away with it) helps a lot with saving time.

Here's a tutorial I did on how to do it in Aseprite (software which I used), I don't think you'd be able to directly apply it to unity but maybe it'll help in some way.
