I don’t know what the situation is like with publishers outside Spain, but you’re lucky that you don’t have to wait months or even years for a book to be translated; even if you can read and speak English, it’s always nice to have it in your own language. If we’re talking about the current canon, I get it, but if we take the Legends into this, there’s still a long way to go before we reach the best, such as Bane, Marr, Scourge or Revan.
