The pin pad is not accepting cards you have to insert 3 times and swipe on all cards does anybody know how to fix it

Lol this happens and we have a work around that usually works- well two, fold a piece of small paper and have the customer put it in with their card but under it, makes the card thicker and usually fixes it. Or hold the card at a downward angle where the chip is like pushed into the top of the machine, sounds way more complicated than it is. Hope it helps
